2016, GOOGLE Balon Officially In Indonesia

These are new technology enhancement that GOOGLE doing for Indonesia in rural area. It was also cited in Kosmo newspaper on 30 October 2015. It's very new to us in Malaysia to adapt the new technology. Hopefully, next coming country is Malaysia to apply the new technology in rural area. As we know, in rural area in Malaysia still need the information technology. So that it could be people in Malaysia with IT based increased. 

The GOOGLE Balon will be benefited to 300 million people surroundings rural area in Indonesia. I hope that Malaysian government through Telekom Malaysia (TM) will collaborate with GOOGLE in order to bring new technology to Malaysia. At the moment Malaysia just implementation hotspot area.

Commercial Aircraft Manufacturing Process

Since I joined UniKL MIAT, Dengkil, Selangor, Malaysia in 2009 and dealing with aviation maintenance area, I'm really excited to find, do some research about aircraft on how the applied technology into the aircraft itself and education visit. I learn each area of the aircraft on function of the system works from manufacturing until it could be used as a services to the customer. In 2014, I was committee members of 1st MARA International Aerospace Symposium (MINAS), the first aerospace symposium that held in Malaysia and organized by UniKL MIAT at that time few top aircraft company has joined the symposium (Boeing, Airbus, Department Civil of Aviation Malaysia etc) and shared the new technology imposed in airline sectors.

Air Traffic Control (ATC) Function





Air traffic control is a service provided by ground-based controllers who direct aircraft on the ground and through controlled airspace, and can provide advisory services to aircraft in non-controlled airspace. (Wikipedia)

Example that can we see is in KLIA and KLIA 2. It has two (2) control tower to manage the aircraft within for take-off and landing. The runways and buildings cover an area of 100 square kilometres. With its 75 ramp stands, it is capable of handling 120 aircraft movements at a time.

What is Management Information Systems (MIS)?

Management information system, or MIS, broadly refers to a computer-based system that provides managers with the tools to organize, evaluate and efficiently manage departments within an organization. In order to provide past, present and prediction information to the organization, a management information system can include:-

1. Software - helps in decision making
2. Databases - the data resources
3. Hardware - the resources of a system
4. Decision support system - that provide managers with appropriate data and information required

Example that could be us more understanding about MIS is Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) staff portal. The system name is Teams-HR. The UniKL database keeps all the information about staff in terms of Planning & Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Capability Development, Reward & Benefit, Performance Management and Exit Interview. All the above tools will follow the above process in order to have a conducive report and information required by the management. To be more clear, below is the sample of the portal:-
